Biography

Chef Will Brown is a Houston native. With cooking roots that stem back to his upbringing in Opelousas, La., he learned how to prepare authentic dishes such as - gumbo, beignets, boudin balls and shrimp creole.

 

In 1995, Chef Brown got his humble beginnings doing small caterings and event planning.  Shortly after, things began to take off and Chef Brown and he eventually founded his own event-planning firm, Weddings by Will.  The company designed numerous events and galas throughout the United States and abroad. Through his experience and passion for this industry, Brown possessed the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to create memorable moments for all his clients.

 

2014 helped catapult Chef Brown's career into many successes for the chef turned superstar. Chef Brown will be making appearances on the Food Network's first season of 'Cutthroat Kitchen', as well as taping another season of his own cooking show, 'Swoosh Will’s Way'. The list does not stop there. Chef Brown has been invited as a honored guest for cooking demos at this year’s Taste of Chicago and the annual Essence Festival in New Orleans.

 

In 2015, big partnerships happened for Chef Brown. He signed on to do a cooking tour with high-end kitchenware retailer, Williams-Sonoma. He conducts cooking demos on location throughout the southeast region of the United States. Recently, his energetic charisma landed him an apperance on Fox Network's new hit television show, 'Superhuman' where he showcased his keen sense of taste. 

 

As Chef Brown's talents touch the lives of many individuals, he unfailingly remains humble and true to his culinary roots. The Louisiana native has big things in store in 2016 and it's only getting bigger and better and he will not relent.
